I miss UCSD

Hey how's everybody? Maybe nobody really comes here anymore but I really miss this site now that I am in UCSF... nobody is cooking and eating with me nowadays... haha...

then how do u settle ur meals? eat out alone? are u buying a car to drive out to chinatown for breakfast? are u still surviving? :) ~fm

hey haha, i do cook sometimes after finding out how to take public transportation or rent a car through the carshare program and where to get groceries. Sometimes I do eat out alone but I have been trying to eat with some singaporeans and my classmates at times (I just brought my classmates to a malaysian restaurant!). I should be getting a car soon but don't think driving to chinatown for breakfast is feasible as traffic will be heavy and it is hard to find parking + expensive)... san francisco, sigh...

apart from the numerous times we have free food, i eat crap most of the time. like i cook pasta sauce, pack 5 packs in the freezer and eat it for a week. or i cook a chicken soup and make noodles with it everyday. breakfast i eat house brand cookies from supermarket or cereal. lunch i pack salads or sandwiches, or buy greasy chinese food from a food truck at the back of the building. yesterday i went out to eat with my classmates, had greasy chinese again from a food court. today we are going to cook and watch debate, pretty much what we have been doing for every past debate, it's quite fun. friday and saturdays i eat alcohol for dinner.
